Teaser Tuesday – Knife Tease
The Watchman
(Immoral Virtue, #3)
“Clasp your hands at your back.”
Jameson drew the spine of the blade lower, along the tender back of Giles’ neck. “Have any been harmed in my care?” He spoke softly to his blindfolded friend, walked slowly around him. Barely grazing his flesh with the steel. Sending ripples of sensation over him.
Giles drew the smallest breath. Whispered his reply. “Nay.”
“You shall not move but to breathe,” Jameson said, the spine now at Giles’ other shoulder. “For should you do so…” Then down, gingerly, steadily, ever so slowly over Giles’ chest. The heavy rise and fall of it clear evidence of Giles’ struggle to remain still, to calm his breaths, to ease his stance, for tension so great could not be held for long. “…I will be forced to secure you.”
Jameson drew the spine lower still, barely grazing the thin line from Giles’ belly to his groin, the muscles there tensing further. Had it been the blade itself, not the spine, it would scratch the flesh, whisk away the hairs, sparse though coarse. Awaken the senses.
He drew it lower still, into the thick mat there. Stroking over it, readying Giles for what was to come. “Shall I restrain you, Giles? Or is your wish to remain still by will alone?”
