Only ONE week to go! Today and next Monday will be the last chance to win a free copy of The Mark. I’ll post a statement regarding Salem Village and the Salem Witch Trials, and whoever posts the correct “Fact” or “Fiction” reply here in the comments section or on my Facebook page the day the question is posted, will have their name entered into that week’s drawing.
Monday = Statement. Tuesday = Answer. Sunday = Winner’s Name announced on my Facebook page.
EDIT – WINNER HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED!!
Fact or Fiction?
Confessions brought on by the torture of an accused witch were considered proof of guilt.
I believe this is true. From what I understand, people were tortured until they could take no more and confessed to anything as long as the torture was stopped.
Sick, isn’t it? Thanks for commenting. See the post – https://arladahl.com/fact-or-fiction-week-5-answer/ – for the answer. 😉
That time was awful for women. Anyone can blame them for being witch.
